Gary Beach
Chef/owner Gary Beach grew up in West Baltimore and has worked in over 40 restaurants on the east coast including catering movie sets and the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. Foregoing culinary school Gary has learned through experience.

During the winter of 1999 he was asked by the Ocean City Marlin Club to open a restaurant on their second floor, which would be open to the public and also serve the membership. After three critically acclaimed but financially difficult seasons he moved his restaurant to the historic Main Lodge of the Francis Scott Key Motel. That's when the Marlin Moon Grille really took off.

The chef/owner stuck to his roots and has been producing his cutting edge traditional Eastern Shore Fare ever since, specializing in All Natural Hereford Beef, Fresh Seafood and Chops. While the staples of the menu have not changed much since opening night the Chef's nightly award wining soups, four appetizer and five dinner specials always are.

The Marlin Moon Grille is a winner of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for their wine list in 2006, 2007 and 2008 and was named as a finalist in the Restaurant Association of Maryland's Favorite Restaurant Awardin 2007.
